Maintenance TechnicianAbout the Role
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a high-performing manufacturing team. In this critical role, you'll help maximize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and keep complex industrial equipment operating at peak performance. Working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and execute maintenance activities to support production goals and reduce equipment downtime.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using testing equipment, precision measuring tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Repair, rebuild, and replace defective machine components to restore equipment performance.
- Partner with production teams to communicate maintenance schedules and best practices that improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues, repairs, and recommendations across shifts.
- Manage spare parts inventory and anticipate maintenance needs to support uninterrupted operations.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational and maintenance objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong industrial mechanical maintenance expierence
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Proven machinery maintenance and equipment repair experience
- Preventive and predictive maintenance expertise
- Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
- PLC troubleshooting capabilities
- Facilities and plant maintenance knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and multi-meters
- Experience working with pumps, motors, conveyors, mixers, and other production equipment
- Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Plastics manufacturing experience highly valued, including:
- Injection Molding
- Extrusion
- Thermoforming
- Blow Molding

Work Environment
This position is based in a large-scale manufacturing facility featuring industrial equipment such as extruders, conveyors, mixers, and other production machinery. The environment requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and safety glasses. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active manufacturing setting and responding to equipment needs in a timely manner.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $81120.00/yr.
