Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in Alabama
- SLP Educator certification for Alabama schools (fingerprint clearance required)
- SLP - CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) credentials
- Experience in schools or pediatrics preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Must be committed to onsite services only
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and diagnostic services to students
- Conduct assessments, create and implement IEPs, and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain clear records and comply with all state and district requirements
- Stay current on best practices in school-based SLP services
