Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support post-implementation efforts following a recent NetSuite go-live. This contract role is onsite in the Nashville, TN, area. The organization experienced challenges during the transition from its legacy ERP system and needs a hands-on accounting professional to help validate converted data, perform detailed reconciliations, and ensure financial information is accurately reflected within NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities

• Support post-go-live reconciliation activities related to the migration from a legacy ERP platform to NetSuite.
• Reconcile orders that were converted during the ERP cutover.
• Utilize legacy system records and transaction IDs to identify and validate corresponding activity within NetSuite.
• Review and compare transaction activity across both systems to ensure completeness and accuracy of converted data.
• Perform detailed account and transaction-level reconciliations, including three-way matching activities.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and support accounting adjustments, reclassifications, and correcting entries as needed.
• Ensure converted transactions are accurately reflected for financial reporting and compliance purposes.
• Document reconciliation procedures, findings, and recommended adjustments for management review.
• Partner with accounting and operational stakeholders to resolve outstanding conversion-related issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite, including transaction research, reconciliations, and troubleshooting conversion-related issues.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets and perform detailed reconciliations.
• Extensive experience with account reconciliations and transaction analysis.
• Ability to independently investigate variances and identify appropriate accounting treatment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Prior ERP implementation, system conversion, or post-go-live support experience is highly preferred.
