Job Summary
Partners Personnel is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a leading precision manufacturing facility in Brea, CA. This position is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for precision mold components while working closely with machinists and engineering teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time production.
The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience using Mastercam X5, prior mold-making experience, and a solid understanding of CNC machining processes.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam X5 software.
- Develop machining strategies for precision mold components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
- Generate efficient toolpaths to maximize productivity and minimize cycle times.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing CNC programs.
- Support CNC machinists during program prove-outs and first article runs.
- Recommend tooling, workholding, and machining improvements.
- Ensure programs meet quality standards and tight tolerances.
- Maintain program documentation and revision control.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, tooling, and production departments.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mastercam X5 software experience required.
- Prior mold-making programming experience required.
- Experience programming 3-axis and/or multi-axis CNC machines.
- Familiarity with Haas CNC machines preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T.
- Strong understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Bilingual in Vietnamese and English preferred.

- Experience in mold manufacturing or tool & die environments.
- Knowledge of machining various metals and tooling materials.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
