You will contribute directly to the creation of high-quality housing components while gaining exposure to advanced manufacturing processes, including CNC machine operation.
Responsibilities- Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, work instructions, and production schedules to complete assemblies accurately and on time.
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently in a production setting.
- Perform basic troubleshooting during production and identify quality issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Conduct inspections to verify product quality and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records to support product traceability and documentation requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Cross-train in different areas of production, including CNC machine operation and other manufacturing processes.
- Work collaboratively with team members in an all-hands-on-deck environment, taking ownership of tasks beyond core duties when needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Essential Skills- Minimum 2+ recent years of mechanical assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches confidently.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure and using standard measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Experience with general production activities, including assembly, inspection, and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on producing high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address basic mechanical or process issues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily work duties.
- Capability to work effectively in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work variable hours and possible Saturdays as production needs require.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
