Job Title: Electrical ForemanJob DescriptionThe Electrical Foreman oversees electrical crews on commercial building projects, ensuring that all installations, repairs, and maintenance work are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with building and safety codes. This role involves planning electrical layouts, interpreting blueprints, directing and training workers, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities- Run electrical crews on commercial building projects and provide day-to-day leadership on site.
- Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment in commercial buildings.
- Prepare and interpret sketches and blueprints to determine the location of wiring, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring conformance to building and safety codes.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components as required for commercial installations.
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and related equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective repairs.
- Repair or replace wiring, conduits, and other electrical components as needed to maintain system reliability and safety.
- Coordinate smaller jobs with minimal supervision, ensuring schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding project progress, technical issues, and any required changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams via verbal communication, email, phone calls, and other channels to ensure smooth project execution.
Essential Skills- Proven ability to run electrical crews and provide effective on-site leadership.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints for commercial buildings.
- Hands-on experience bending conduit and pipe for commercial electrical installations.
- Experience connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components in commercial settings.
- Solid electrical troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving system issues.
- Ability to plan and lay out electrical wiring and installations in buildings.
- Capability to direct and train workers in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring.
- Effective verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in written communication through email and other documentation.
- Ability to run smaller jobs with minimal supervision and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
