Job Title: Electrical ForemanJob DescriptionThis role oversees commercial electrical work on high-rise apartment buildings in Fairfield and New Haven County, ensuring that all electrical installations and systems are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and project specifications.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial high-rise apartment building projects, providing clear direction and support throughout each phase of the work.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute conduit installation, wiring, and related electrical tasks to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems and equipment to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Inspect completed work to verify proper installation, functionality, and adherence to safety and quality requirements.
- Coordinate daily activities with project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and minimal disruption to other trades on site.
- Maintain organized work areas, tools, and materials, ensuring that the team follows safety procedures and best practices at all times.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to electricians and apprentices to support skill development and consistent performance.
- Document work progress, issues, and changes as required, and communicate updates to appropriate project personnel.
Essential Skills- Strong experience with conduit installation in commercial environments, including high-rise apartment buildings.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring for commercial projects and multi-unit residential structures.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment effectively and safely.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Proven leadership skills in supervising electrical teams on construction sites.
- Current E1 electrical license or equivalent qualification as required for foreman-level responsibilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience working on high-rise construction projects in Fairfield and New Haven County or similar markets.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations applicable to commercial and multi-family buildings.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with project stakeholders and lead field teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $36.00/hr.
