We are looking for an HR Specialist to support human resources systems and data operations for a team based in Washington, District of Columbia. The role focuses on maintaining system accuracy, improving HRIS processes, and helping the organization make informed decisions through reliable reporting and system support.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day administration of HRIS platforms, ensuring employee records remain accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Analyze HR data and system activity to identify issues, recommend improvements, and support better workforce reporting.
• Assist with HRIS implementation activities, including configuration support, testing, validation, and user readiness tasks.
• Maintain the integrity of HRIS databases by performing audits, resolving discrepancies, and enforcing data standards.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate operational needs into practical solutions.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries that support compliance, workforce planning, and HR decision-making.
• Troubleshoot system-related problems, coordinate resolutions, and provide functional support to end users.
• Document HRIS procedures, workflows, and updates to promote consistency and effective system usage.• Experience supporting HRIS analysis, administration, or related human resources systems work.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms, data structures, and system functionality within an HR environment.
• Ability to contribute to HRIS implementation efforts, including testing, issue tracking, and process validation.
• Strong understanding of HRIS database maintenance, data accuracy practices, and record management standards.
• Proficiency in analyzing data, generating reports, and identifying trends or exceptions within HR systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate system issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with HR teams, technical partners, and business stakeholders.
