We are seeking a highly motivated Upstream Processing Technician to support the manufacture of commercial and clinical biologics. The candidate will adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and perform a variety of functions related to upstream cell culture processes. These functions include the propagation of mammalian cell culture, aseptic cell culture operations, execution of large-scale production bioreactors, and conducting large scale filtration or centrifugation. This role offers a great opportunity to be involved in large-scale biological and chemistry pharmaceutical operations.
ResponsibilitiesThis position requires working in cleanroom and aseptic suites, where you must be willing to gown up in a full gowning suit including bodysuit, gloves, hair and beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses. The work schedule consists of rotating 10-hour shifts, working 40 hours a week, with a specific two-week rotation. You will need to be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs independently and stand for 80% of the shift. Note that makeup, jewelry, nail polish, cologne, perfume, scented lotions, or hair care products are prohibited.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
