We're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to play a critical role in supporting production by troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electro-mechanical products. In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and help ensure high-quality products reach customers. What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be a key resource for resolving technical issues and helping production run efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical devices and assemblies to identify and confirm failure modes.
- Investigate electrical and mechanical issues using a structured root cause analysis approach.
- Repair and rework products to restore proper functionality and meet quality standards.
- Use diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes, to evaluate system performance and identify faults.
- Support production operators by providing real-time technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Document findings, root causes, and corrective actions in a clear and accurate manner.
- Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify recurring issues and implement process improvements.
- Recommend solutions that improve product quality, reliability, and production efficiency.
- Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures while maintaining a high level of workmanship.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen manufacturing operations.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, devices, or systems.
- Proficiency using a multimeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
- Experience identifying, diagnosing, and correcting electrical or mechanical faults.
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to clearly document troubleshooting activities and repair actions.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing and engineering functions.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience using oscilloscopes for electrical signal analysis and troubleshooting.
- Soldering experience, including rework and repair of electronic assemblies.
- Experience working with power supplies, test equipment, or electronic manufacturing systems.
- Medical device, electronics, aerospace, industrial equipment, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
- Prior experience supporting high-volume production environments.
- Associate degree, technical diploma, military electronics training, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
