As a Field Technician III, you will play a key role in testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical power distribution systems across a variety of customer environments. This is a highly visible, field-based position offering exposure to low, medium, and high-voltage equipment while providing a clear path for continued professional growth, including advancement through NETA certification.

What You'll Do
- Travel locally and regionally to customer sites to perform electrical testing, inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Test, inspect, repair, clean, and maintain power distribution equipment, including:
- Circuit breakers
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Motors
- Current Transformers (CTs)
- Potential Transformers (PTs)
- CCVTs and related electrical apparatus
- Work safely around low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems in industrial, utility, commercial, and mission-critical environments.
- Utilize advanced electrical testing equipment, including megger testers, ductors, Hi-Pot equipment, power factor testing equipment, and CT ratio/saturation testing instruments.
- Analyze schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documents to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Accurately document test results, maintenance activities, repairs, and field observations.
- Proactively identify and communicate safety concerns while participating in site safety meetings and programs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approach on every job site.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and project teams to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Continue building technical expertise and pursue higher levels of NETA certification and professional development.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems, utilities, industrial maintenance, electrical contracting, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
- Experience performing electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance within low, medium, or high-voltage environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical apparatus, including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motors, CTs, PTs, and related equipment.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established safety procedures.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally and regionally and work overtime as project demands require.
- NETA Certification, or equivalent experience that demonstrates a comparable level of technical proficiency.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

- Active pursuit of advanced NETA certification levels.
