Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator
Job Description
Set-up, adjust, and operate mills and lathes to perform progressive machining operations on a variety of standardized work requiring close tolerances and finish requirements. The role involves working with standard turning and planing machines, boring and drilling machines, grinders, and more. While speeds, feeds, operational sequences, and tooling are generally prescribed, the Machinist may select or vary them to accommodate materials, conditions, or variations in standard procedures. Responsibilities also include grinding tools and setting up machines for operation by others. The work is based on drawings, specifications, and job layouts, utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of shop practices and machining fundamentals is essential, acquired through vocational training and experience. The work will be subject to process and final inspection.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
