Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse and production operations by safely loading and unloading trailers, accurately verifying inbound and outbound shipments, and assisting with inventory management activities. This position helps keep materials flowing smoothly to and from the production floor while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring materials are handled safely and proper documentation is completed accurately.
- Support production activities by staging raw materials, removing finished products from the production floor, and reconciling product pull sheets with actual production output.
- Verify inbound and outbound shipments by performing precise product counts, assessing freight for damage, conducting QA check-in inspections, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including general upkeep and housekeeping tasks.
- Stock shelves and ensure products and materials are stored in the correct locations for easy access and inventory accuracy.
- Assist with daily inbound and outbound UPS and FedEx shipments, including preparing packages, labeling, and coordinating pick-ups.
- Perform daily equipment checks on forklifts and other material-handling equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Handle general labor and material-handling tasks such as picking, packing, loading, unloading, and order picking.
- Lift up to 65 pounds and perform physical activities including stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while following all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Follow written and verbal instructions in English to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Essential Skills- At least one year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to certify and operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment needed to move products and materials.
- Proven ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English accurately.
- Experience with core warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and order picking.
- Capability to lift up to 65 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks including stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work with hay and hay-based products, with no grass allergies.
- Comfort working in extreme heat and/or cold conditions as weather dictates.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some weekend hours as needed.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
- Basic understanding of production support processes, including staging materials and handling finished goods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience performing QA check-in inspections and reporting shipment discrepancies.
- Background in general labor and material handling in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with daily equipment checks and basic equipment safety procedures.
- Experience assisting with parcel carrier shipments, including UPS and FedEx.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace and support overall warehouse upkeep.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a hands-on warehouse and production environment that involves working with hay, grass, and hay-based products, so the ability to work without grass allergies is important. The work is physically active and may take place in extreme heat or cold, depending on weather conditions. Multiple shift options are available, including Monday through Friday first shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and second shift from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., as we
