This role involves operating a metal stamping press to manufacture structural connecting components used in wood, steel, masonry, concrete, and composite wood building construction. You will interpret information from work orders and blueprints, set up the press for specific jobs, and ensure that parts are accurately produced, loaded, and packed under the guidance of a supervisor. Approximately 40% of your time will be spent operating and setting up the machine, while the remaining 60% will focus on loading and packing parts.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a clean, modern manufacturing facility focused on structural metal components. The role is on first shift with multiple openings, working Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with additional hours available on Friday and sometimes Saturday. You will work with metal stamping presses and related fabrication equipment, handling sheet metal and using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, height gauges, and calipers. The environment is high-volume and fast-paced, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork, and requires appropriate industrial work attire suitable for a production floor.
