Special Education Teacher – New Jersey | 2026–2027 School Year

We're hiring Special Education Teachers for full-time school-based opportunities in New Jersey for the 2026–2027 school year. If you're passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs, we'd love to connect!

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite position
• September 3, 2026 – June 23, 2027
• 32.5 hours per week (6.5-hour days)
• One school assignment
• Self-contained Special Education classrooms

Compensation Range - $35/hr - $55/hr ( Based on experience, qualifications and caseload)

Available Caseloads:

• Cognitive Impairments (CI): Grades 7–8
• Emotional Regulation Impairment (ERI): Grades 3–5 & 9–10
• Learning Disabilities (Cross-Categorical): Grades 7–8
• Moderately Cognitively Impaired (MCI): Grades 9–12
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD Levels 1, 2 & 3): Grades K–12

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey TOH or TOSD endorsement
• Appropriate New Jersey teaching certification for the assigned grade level and/or subject area
• Previous Special Education experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
