Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated new graduate Speech-Language Pathologist to begin their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a school-based setting in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to transition from graduate school into your professional career with dedicated CF supervision and support throughout your fellowship. You will gain valuable school-based experience, complete the clinical hours needed for your professional credentialing, and build confidence as an independent clinician with an experienced team supporting you along the way.
About the Position
As a Clinical Fellow, you will provide speech and language services to students while working under qualified supervision. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, collaborate with educators and families, participate in IEPs, and work toward completing your ASHA Clinical Fellowship requirements.
Job Duties
- Provide speech and language therapy to students based on identified needs and IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations under appropriate supervision
- Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Consult with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Provide evidence-based interventions targeting communication needs
- Complete required CF documentation and track clinical hours
- Participate in regular supervision, mentoring, and professional development
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion of required graduate coursework and supervised clinical practicum
- Eligible to begin an ASHA Clinical Fellowship
- Eligible to obtain the appropriate Florida SLP credential/license required to practice during the CFY
- Ability to obtain any required Florida Department of Education school-based credential
- Commitment to completing the ASHA CF requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
