Join a High-Acuity Nursing Team
We are currently seeking dedicated and clinically strong Registered Nurses to become part of a Critical Care Float Pool supporting multiple critical care units. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations while utilizing advanced clinical skills in a challenging and rewarding healthcare environment.
Position Information
Position: Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Status: Full-Time, Permanent Position
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
Compensation Package
- Starting hourly rate from $33.15/hour (based on experience)
- $4.00/hour evening differential beginning at 7 PM
- Additional $0.25/hour differential beginning at 11 PM
- $6.00/hour Critical Care premium pay
- Relocation assistance up to $10,000 for eligible candidates
Position Responsibilities
As a Critical Care Float Pool RN, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients across various units.
- Perform patient assessments and continuously monitor clinical status.
- Develop, implement, and adjust care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and effectively.
- Identify changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately.
- Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations.
- Ensure timely and accurate charting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in departmental initiatives focused on patient safety, quality outcomes, and professional development.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Current Oklahoma RN License or Compact State RN License.
- Minimum one year of recent Critical Care nursing experience.
- Current or recent experience in:
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and/or
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
