You’ll work Monday through Friday, clocking 37.5 hours each week. As a roving educator, you’ll collaborate closely with other RSP teachers to support a caseload of approximately 28 students, providing tailored instruction and fostering student achievement.

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential (CA credential preferred, or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Experience supporting diverse learners at the middle school level
• Understanding of IEP processes and ability to implement individualized learning plans
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Dedication to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging and individualized instruction to middle school students with a range of learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with other teachers and specialists
• Serve as a roving resource, collaborating with fellow RSP teachers to share strategies and resources
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all required documentation
• Foster positive relationships with students, promoting both academic growth and emotional well-being
