Job Title: EHS SupervisorJob DescriptionThe Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor supports and drives safety and environmental initiatives within a manufacturing facility. This role develops, manages, and monitors EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements. The EHS Supervisor partners closely with site leadership to conduct risk assessments, inspections, training, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the overall safety culture.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures that comply with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Partner closely with site leadership to promote a strong safety culture across the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend appropriate controls.
- Perform regular facility walkthroughs and inspections on the production floor and in office areas to ensure adherence to EHS standards.
- Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, including topics such as OSHA compliance, environmental health, and workplace safety practices.
- Monitor and manage environmental programs, including wastewater and other environmental health initiatives, to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Use the hierarchy of controls to design and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems.
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify EHS risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, track metrics, and communicate EHS performance to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and coaching to employees and supervisors on safe work practices and EHS expectations.
- Support bilingual communication needs, as applicable, to ensure all employees understand EHS policies and training content.
Essential Skills- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field OR at least 4+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with OSHA regulations.
- Experience working with EPA regulations.
- Experience conducting risk assessments in a manufacturing setting.
