The Handyman / Facilities Helper supports the maintenance, cleanliness, and operational readiness of campus buildings and grounds. This hands-on role involves performing physically demanding tasks, using a variety of tools, and assisting with repairs and preventive maintenance to keep facilities safe, functional, and presentable.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work in a stable, campus-based environment with the potential for a long-term opportunity. You will contribute directly to the quality and safety of the campus community while developing practical, in-demand maintenance skills.
Work EnvironmentThis role is based at a community college campus and involves working both indoors and outdoors in and around academic buildings and grounds. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing steady daytime hours. The work is physically active and may include lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods while using standard maintenance tools and equipment in a variety of facility settings.
