Finance Manager
Position Overview
An established manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead financial operations at its Corona, NY facility. This leadership role oversees finance, costing, payroll, IT, and administrative functions while partnering closely with operational leadership to drive business performance and financial results.
The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing finance experience, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Finance, Costing, Payroll, IT, and Administrative functions
- Manage and develop a team of 8 direct reports
- Oversee monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership
- Manage annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts
- Support business planning and strategic initiatives
- Oversee capital expenditure planning and reporting
- Lead internal and external audit activities
- Manage inventory control processes, cycle counts, and annual physical inventories
- Review and maintain manufacturing costing models
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Finance Manager, Controller, Plant Controller, or similar leadership role
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Experience managing teams of 5+ employees
- Strong financial reporting experience
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management experience
- Cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- ERP systems experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA designation
- ERP implementation experience
- Inventory accounting experience
- Aerospace, industrial manufacturing, automotive, electronics, metals, or related manufacturing experience

Compensation
- Base Salary: $125,000 - $135,000
- 15% Annual Performance Bonus
