A respected law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Legal Assistant to support its busy Litigation practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively with attorneys and legal professionals, and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, edit, format, compare, and finalize legal correspondence, pleadings, agreements, and other documents.
- Perform document conversions, PDF manipulation, scanning, and electronic file management.
- Electronically file and serve litigation documents in state, federal, and appellate courts nationwide.
- Maintain and monitor litigation calendars, court deadlines, scheduling orders, briefing schedules, and other key dates.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files, pleadings, and supporting documentation.
- Review, edit, and finalize attorney and paralegal time entries and assist with client billing.
- Coordinate attorney and client meetings, depositions, conferences, and travel arrangements.
- Provide general administrative and legal support, including calendar management and routine correspondence.
QualificationsRequired:- Strong proofreading, grammar, and document formatting skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience providing administrative support in a professional environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred:- 2+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm environment.
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Familiarity with iManage and InTapp software.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $48,000 - $91,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
