The position is based in North Chicago and involves travel within the Winnetka Preschool Consortium, offering variety in your daily experiences and the chance to work with a diverse team of professionals.

What You’ll Need:

• Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Illinois state licensure in Occupational Therapy (active and in good standing)
• Experience working in early childhood or special education settings (highly preferred)
• Flexibility to travel across multiple schools within the preschool consortium
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt occupational therapy interventions to support young children’s developmental and educational goals

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations for early childhood students with developmental needs
• Collaborating with educators, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans
• Supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-help skill development in alignment with IEP goals
• Educating and training staff and families to reinforce strategies and adaptations in daily routines
• Documenting progress, participating in IEP meetings, and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture
