We're seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for contract positions at two dynamic programs near Minneapolis, MN—both offering full-time schedules (37.5 hours/week) and the chance to collaborate with expert teams making a difference.

One position serves middle school students (grades 6-8) with significant disabilities in a supportive setting 4 program. Here, you’ll work with learners experiencing developmental cognitive delays, a variety of physical mobility needs—including some who utilize wheelchairs—and a range of mild behavioral supports. The other opportunity is in a setting 3 program within an elementary school, where you’ll help 6-9 students identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Developmental Cognitive Delay (DCD) thrive in their academic and social environments.

Requirements:

• Valid Special Education teaching license for Minnesota
• Experience with students with significant cognitive, developmental, or physical disabilities (preferred)
• Ability to effectively manage IEP processes and modify curriculum as needed
• Strong collaboration skills for working with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
• Compassion, adaptability, and commitment to inclusive, strengths-based teaching
• Willingness to work a full contract from August 24th, 2026 through June 11th, 2027 (orientation/training dates to be confirmed)
