Previous experience working in a school setting and bilingual skills in Spanish are considered strong assets, as is the ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and grade levels.

Qualifications:

• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
• Background in school psychological services and assessment techniques
• Comfortable working with PreK-8 populations
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with MTSS/RTI and special education processes

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic evaluations
• Support students’ social-emotional and behavioral growth
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop intervention plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
• Engage in crisis intervention and prevention programming
• Collect and analyze data to inform services and supports
• Provide consultation to staff regarding student needs
• Stay current with best practices and legal requirements
