Project Environment
Projects may include:
- Multi-phase hyperscale data center campus developments
- High-density compute and AI-ready data halls
- Central Utility Plants (CUPs) supporting large chilled water systems
- Medium- and high-voltage electrical infrastructure
- Substations, switchyards, and utility interconnections
- Generator yards, fuel systems, and UPS backup power infrastructure
- Underground duct banks, fiber pathways, and utility systems
- Structural steel and precast building construction
- Complex commissioning and startup activities
- Accelerated schedules tied to operational readiness milestones
- Redundant infrastructure supporting N+1 and 2N reliability standards
Key
ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Leadership
- Manage all phases of project delivery, including planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
- Lead project teams in achieving schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
- Partner closely with Superintendents, field engineers, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
- Drive accountability across all project participants to ensure successful execution.
Cost & Financial Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, and financial performance.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and pay applications.
- Track project financial metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability.
Scheduling & Procurement
- Develop and maintain master project schedules and milestone tracking.
- Monitor critical path activities and proactively address schedule risks.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of long-lead equipment including:
- Switchgear
- Transformers
- Generators
- Chillers
- Mechanical equipment
- Electrical distribution systems
Contract Administration
- Oversee contracts, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
- Support claims resolution and risk mitigation efforts.
- Maintain accurate and timely project records.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Build strong relationships while ensuring project objectives remain aligned.
- Coordinate turnover activities and project closeout deliverables.
Risk Management & Quality Control
- Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact cost or schedule.
- Support quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
- Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure systems are tested, validated, and operational.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
QualificationsRequired- 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale construction environments.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and contract administration.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery methodologies.
