The Campaign Associate is part of the Resource Development team and works closely with the Associate Director of Resource Development, businesses, donors, and volunteers while holding true to UWABC’s long-term strategic vision.
***This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. While certain meetings, events, and donor activities occur at scheduled times, many responsibilities can be completed during mutually agreed-upon work hours. We welcome applicants who may be balancing another part-time role or other ongoing commitments.***

Hours: Part-Time, up to 20/week - standard hours Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with some weekend or before/after hour needs
Position Type: 10 - 11 Week Position - September 8th - November 19th
Position is responsible for supporting fundraising strategies and goals of UWABC’s Resource Development Department related to Workplace Campaigns and donor cultivation in the workplace. In partnership with staff, you will be responsible for an account portfolio of businesses committed to investing in and engaging employees in the community through UWABC initiatives. This role is a part-time, temporary position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a Portfolio of Workplace Accounts
● Implement workplace fundraising campaign strategies
● Ask for employee and corporate contributions through in-person presentations for different sized audiences
● Serve as a project manager on tasks and assignments in portfolios assigned to you
● Represent UWABC at campaign events
● Educate employees on the value of investing in UWABC to address Youth Opportunity and Community Resiliency
● Build and deepen relationships between business partners, workplace donors and UWABC
● Maintain accurate workplace and donor profiles in the CRM and research assigned accounts
Support for Resource Development Staff
● Assist with events and experiences to engage business and individual donors
● Work with the Associate Director to keep the campaign storage organized and accessible
● Assist with other duties as assigned as it relates to Resource Development strategies and goals
● Work cross-departmentally to address time-sensitive priorities effectively

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
● Associate degree in business administration, communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field, with experience in public speaking OR 2 or more years of experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or volunteer management—especially in roles focused on relationship-building, public speaking, solicitation, account management, or event coordination.
● Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
● Ability to work a flexible schedule. May be asked to cover occasional evening or weekend hours on an as needed basis.
● Commitment to UWABC's guiding principles and ability to model those principles
TECHNICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
● Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements and access to reliable transportation or ability to drive fleet vehicles to various site visits. A motor vehicle records check is required. Mileage reimbursement is provided for use of personal vehicles.
● Proficient with computers and software, including Google Suite and MS Office
● Ability and willingness to learn & work within specified software platforms - Asana (project management), Airtable (tracking), and CRM
● Ability to manage time, multiple priorities, maneuver complex work environments, engage in planning and problem-solving, and execute detail
