Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join their team. This opportunity is with a 47-year-old privately held business. They are extremely busy and growing. Our client would like to hire someone to continue to improve on a successful department. Much of the existing equipment has been completely rebuilt and many new pieces of equipment have been added over the last 4 years. They consider their selves lucky to have tenured maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising a team of up to 16 Maintenance Technicians, a Maintenance Planner and Parts Buyer
• Planning scheduled maintenance shutdown
• Working with Production to improve processes
• Ensuring PM'S are being completed properly and timely
• Continuing to build CMMS system with new PM's and mean time between failure analysis
• Improving Spare Part Storage
• Organizing Contractors for projects

Qualifications:

• Preferred degree in engineering or Industrial Maintenance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance Leadership position
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Experience with drives, PLC's and HMI's is preferred
