Position Summary
The Truckload Account Manager fosters strong customer and carrier relationships and manages a variety of clients within the logistics and supply chain industry. This individual manages client engagement, monitors day-to-day activities, and cultivates business relationships to encourage growth within existing accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage the needs of full truckload clients within the logistics and supply chain industry
• Maintain strong relationships within the client organizations at the decision maker and end-user levels, present a consistent company image to those clients, and build and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
• Develop SOPs, KPIs, and other measurements while onboarding new customers, and ensure these metrics are met and regularly reported for existing customers.
• Manage the contract renewal process
• Support day-to-day operations
• Conduct annual account reviews
• Promote account penetration by pursuing sales growth opportunities with current customers within other departments
• Nurture prospect relationships over extended sales cycles
• Manage the negotiation and closing processes for each unique contract
• Other administrative duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years of experience within the transportation logistics industry
