Summary of Function: Setting up and machining of individual tooling components per design and programming instructions on a CNC machining center.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Program simple configurations in shop form mode.
- Operate various CNC milling machines.
- Download required programs.
- Work with little supervision. Keep close contact with programming and work schedule.
- Runs equipment in most efficient way and pursue increased output.
- Responsible for equipment operation.
- Housekeeping in and around CNC machines.
- Fanuc Control experience a plus.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
