Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Description
This role focuses on operating and setting up CNC lathes within a clean, climate-controlled machine shop that utilizes a wide range of advanced equipment. You will perform complete setups, tool changes, and minor program edits to produce high-quality parts to tight tolerances, while ensuring consistent productivity on multiple CNC machines throughout the facility.

Work Environment
The machine shop is climate controlled, very clean, quiet, extremely organized, and air conditioned, providing a comfortable and professional setting. You will work on either first or second shift, with first shift running Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and second shift running Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. There are typically 4–5 hours of overtime available each week. This opening focuses on a Mori Seiki twin spindle, two turret lathe, and you will work as part of a team of approximately 15–17 machinists on first shift. The shop includes extensive CNC turning capability (Citizen M32 Y Axis Swiss Type Lathe; multiple Mori Seiki CNC lathes including SL2500Y, ZT2500Y, NLX2500Y; Okuma LU400M), horizontal machining centers (Kitamura Mycenter-HX500I with full 4th axis, Mori Seiki SH-400 with full 4th axis), manual lathes, vertical knee mills (Bridgeport Series 1, and vertical machining centers (several Kitamura My center models with full 4th axis, Makino FNC40, Milltronics RH20, Mori Seiki SV-500 with pallet shuttle). Additional support equipment includes sand blasting, various grinders, honing machines, laser engraving machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, band saws, and MIG weld machines, enabling a broad range of machining and finishing operations
