The IT Systems Support Manager – MES, ERP & Building IT is responsible for the administration, support, integration, and continuous improvement of the company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and all building-related information technology infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations. This position ensures reliable operation of business-critical applications, production systems, network infrastructure, end-user computing, and facility technology while serving as the primary liaison between manufacturing, engineering, operations, finance, and third-party technology vendors.
This role is essential in maintaining system availability, cybersecurity, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives within a high-volume solar module manufacturing environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer and support the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Configure production workflows, routing, product traceability, and work order management.
- Support barcode scanning, serialization, genealogy, and production reporting.
- Troubleshoot MES issues impacting production and coordinating corrective actions.
- Work with manufacturing engineering to implement process improvements.
