Sample Handler – Laboratory Support | Lowell, AR

We're looking for a detail-oriented Sample Handler to join a laboratory services operation in Lowell, Arkansas. This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone who thrives on organization, doesn't mind physical work, and takes pride in getting things exactly right.

What You'll Do

• Manage samples from intake through testing and final disposition using database software
• Check incoming samples against requirements and flag discrepancies to the project team
• Keep sample storage areas organized, inventoried, and audit-ready
• Handle filing activities involving boxes stored on upper shelving
• Coordinate with lab, engineering, and shipping/receiving teams to keep testing on schedule

What You Bring

• Strong attention to detail and reading comprehension
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
• Basic computer proficiency, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Outlook
• Familiarity with sorting, filing, or records management
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and comfortably handle walking, climbing, sorting, and filing throughout the day
• Flexibility to shift start/end times by about an hour when business needs require it

Good to Know

• Some filing activities take place at a climate-controlled storage facility about 1.2 miles from the main site; a company van is provided for the trip
• Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, onsite
• Contract role, August 2026 through December 2026, with possibility of conversion or extension
