Assembly Supervisor – 2nd Shift
Location: Cary, IL
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Potential extension until 1:00 AM Monday–Thursday)
Training: 4–5 weeks on 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to lead a team of 25–35 production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Supervise and lead a team of 25–35 hourly production employees.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety goals are consistently achieved.
- Coordinate workflow and material movement between production, engineering, quality, planning, shipping, and receiving.
- Monitor work-in-process (WIP), inventory, and production performance.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and manufacturing issues.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees while maintaining accountability.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate production reporting and ERP/MES transactions.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience (3–5+ years preferred).
- Experience leading production teams in a discrete manufacturing environment.
- Background in assembly, fabrication, machining, metal forming, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanically inclined with experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Experience working with ERP systems; MES experience is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Great Plains ERP.
- Welding or metal fabrication experience.
