We are currently seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Inventory Control Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining accurate inventory records while supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
This is a cold storage facility, and we are looking for people who have experience working in a cold storage warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Accurately record inventory transactions using the warehouse management system.
- Perform cycle counts, location audits, and physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and transaction errors.
- Generate inventory reports to monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy.
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as part of daily job duties.
- Perform quality checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with company standards.
- Follow all inventory control procedures, food safety guidelines, and USDA regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Previous warehouse or inventory control experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is preferred and candidates must be willing to operate a forklift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
- Occasionally lift up to 80 lbs with assistance.
- Comfortable working around forklifts, pallet jacks, warehouse equipment, and refrigerated areas.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Moderate noise levels.
- May work in refrigerated areas and around loading and receiving docks.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.
