Dixie Imports is looking for a motivated, personable, and results driven Automotive Sales Professional to join our team.

We are looking for someone who understands that great automotive sales is about more than showing cars. It is about building relationships, following up consistently, understanding what the customer needs, and confidently guiding them through the buying process.

Whether you already have automotive sales experience or have been successful in another sales or customer facing environment, we are interested in people who are competitive, coachable, dependable, and motivated by the opportunity to earn.

What You Will Do

As an Automotive Sales Professional, you will manage customers throughout the entire sales process, including:

• Responding to internet, phone, and walk in customers
• Building relationships with new and existing customers
• Helping customers identify vehicles that fit their needs and budget
• Conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Following up with leads by phone, text, and email
• Generating your own opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and previous customers
• Working with management to structure and close deals
• Maintaining accurate customer information and follow up activity in the CRM
• Staying knowledgeable about available inventory, vehicle features, pricing, and financing options
• Following up after the sale to create repeat customers and referral opportunities

Our sales professionals are expected to take ownership of their business. We provide inventory, leads, tools, training, and support, but successful salespeople understand the importance of consistent follow up and creating opportunities instead of waiting for customers to walk through the door.

• Confidence speaking with customers in person and over the phone
• Ability to build rapport quickly with a wide variety of customers
• Motivated by goals, competition, and earning potential
• Comfortable prospecting and performing outbound sales activities
• Strong follow up and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers and opportunities at the same time
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Coachable and willing to learn new sales techniques and technology
• Previous automotive, retail, wireless, furniture, real estate, insurance, or other sales experience is preferred but not required
• CRM or dealership software experience is a plus
• Spanish or additional language skills are a plus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred

Compensation

This position includes a weekly base salary plus monthly commission, giving you both consistent income and significant performance based earning potential.

Top earning potential of up to $120,000 per year.

Your income is directly influenced by your performance, follow up, customer service, and ability to consistently generate and close opportunities.
