Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, highly skilled Dump Truck Driver with a Class B CDL to join our team. This position requires hauling materials to and from active job sites. Please note: This role strictly requires the ability to operate a manual transmission and trucks with air brakes. We are looking for an experienced driver, with a strong preference for candidates who have a background in asphalt hauling.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS (Read Before Applying)

MANUAL TRANSMISSION REQUIREMENT: You MUST be able to proficiently drive a manual transmission stick-shift truck. If your CDL has an automatic transmission restriction, you will not be considered for this role.

• License: Valid Class B CDL (or Class A) with NO driving restrictions (Must NOT have an Automatic Transmission "E" restriction or an Air Brakes "L" restriction).

• Equipment Mastery: Must be fully capable of operating both a manual transmission and vehicles equipped with air brakes.

• Driving Record: Must possess a clean/good driving record.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver a dump truck on public roads and tight, active construction zones.

• Haul and dump materials (including hot asphalt, gravel, and dirt) according to job site instructions.

• Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.

• Maintain accurate logs and closely follow all safety regulations and traffic laws.

• Work consistently through the week, easily managing 40+ hours Monday to Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Asphalt Hauling: Prior experience hauling and paving asphalt is highly preferred and will place you at the top of the applicant pool.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to work outdoors in summer heat and varying weather conditions (typical for asphalt work).

• Ability to climb into and out of the truck cab frequently throughout the day.
