Role:

As a Tax Preparer - CPA at Uplevel By Design, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of tax laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide clients with valuable insights into their tax situations.

responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.)
• Provide tax planning and advice to clients to optimize tax outcomes
• Stay up to date with current tax laws and regulations
• Identify tax savings opportunities for clients and offer actionable recommendations
• Respond to client inquiries and provide clear explanations of tax issues
• Assist with tax audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Maintain accurate and complete tax documentation and records
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate filings

qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Requirement
• In-Depth knowledge of Federal and State Tax Law
• Experience in tax preparation and filing for individuals and businesses at a multistate level
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality

hours:

* Minimum of 40 hours per week

salary:

For this role, compensation is based on both Salary and Company Profitability Bonuses and Value Add Bonuses. Your based compensation range would be between $70,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on the your experience and qualifications. Every year you will be able to earn up to 40% of your base salary via our bonus structure.
