Padgett Business Advisors is seeking an experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our growing Indianapolis team. We're looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with small business owners and helping them achieve their financial goals.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of recent public accounting experience working with small businesses and possess strong technical expertise in both tax preparation and business advisory services.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review business and individual income tax returns.
• Provide proactive tax planning and strategic tax advice.
• Advise small business clients on financial, operational, and business growth matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Collaborate with our advisory and accounting teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required.
• 5-7 years of recent CPA firm/public accounting experience.
• Extensive experience preparing business and individual income tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of tax planning strategies for small businesses.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
