Food Truck Chef – Backwoods Bar (Coeur d’Alene, ID)

Backwoods Bar is looking for a talented chef to bring our food vision to life.

We are expanding from a liquor-only bar by launching a permanent food truck on our back patio, and we’re providing everything you need: the truck, equipment, supplies, and a built-in customer base.

All we need is the right chef to execute.

About the Role:

We want someone who can take classic bar food and elevate it:
sliders, wings, fries, late-night bites. Done right, every time.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a fully set-up kitchen and focus on what matters: great food and great execution.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Help execute a simple, high-quality menu that fits the Backwoods vibe
• Cooking and serving food during peak hours
• Keeping food consistent, fast, and crave-worthy
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Supporting menu ideas, specials, and event-based features

What We’re Looking For

• A skilled, creative chef who takes pride in their food
• Experience in fast-paced kitchens (food truck or bar experience is a plus)
• Someone who understands what sells in a bar environment
• Ability to handle high-volume nights without sacrificing quality
• Reliable, hardworking, and easy to work with
