Job Description:
UP TO $48.00 per Flat Rate Hour for Experienced Techs
Harrods Creek Auto (East End) is looking for an Experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency
- Accurately diagnose and resolve diagnostic and drivability issues
- Be able to repair all vehicle automotive systems
- Use time clock for attendance and job repair orders
- Be respectful and courteous to customers and fellow employees
- Communicate well with the Service Writer and Manager
- Willingness to attend classes for continuing education to improve skills
- Must be able to follow all shop and safety rules
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic
- Must have all necessary tools
- Experience with European, Asian and American vehicles although specialists for specific makes will be considered.
- Independent or Dealership service experience is preferred
- Dealer or A.S.E certification is highly preferred
- Hold a valid State of Kentucky driver’s license
- Must be willing to agree to a background check and drug screening, no DUI’s within the past 5 years
- Must provide history of prior employment along with references
