Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized medical receptionist to join our gastroenterology office which includes a medical assistant, physician, and nurse practitioner. The right candidate will be a welcoming contact person for our patients and facilitate communication between referring offices and our providers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage front desk duties
- Process payments.
- Cross-train to cover medical assistant: room patients, schedule procedures or imaging
- Assist with paperwork including prior authorizations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable.
- Able to multitask, team-player
- Medical background/receptionist experience preferred.
- Ideally available to start by mid-August
About Us:
- Gastroenterology practice: physician and nurse practitioner
- Located at Queens Medical Center
- Monday-Friday 8-4pm
