A prestigious multinational company specializing in warehouse project management is seeking Temporary Full-Time Supervisors to assist with setting up a warehouse for one of the largest retail e-commerce companies. This is a 2-month assignment located in Richmond, VA

Starting day: Monday, August 17th

Assignment Duration: 2 months

Available Shifts:

• Tuesday to Saturday - 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Sunday to Thursday - 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Friday to Tuesday - 3:00 pm - 12:00 am (midnight)
• Wednesday to Saturday - 3:00 - 12:00 pm (midnight)
• Friday, Saturday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm & Sunday, Monday - 3:00 - 12:00 pm (midnight)
• Sunday, Monday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm & Tuesday to Friday - 3:00 - 12:00 pm (midnight)

Break: 1-hour unpaid

Pay Rate: $20/h

Responsibilities

• Supervise small group of associates to conduct safety checks and support.
• Assist with check-in of employees in the building.
• Receiving and kitting, sorting, and deployment of non-inventory boxes and modules
• Use of arming drills, anchor drills, and rubber hammers
• Use of measuring tools with tape measure, laser, and chalk line.
• Bending work many times a day and moderate weightlifting.
• Placement of items in modules according to instructions and specifications.
• Assist Supervisor with other tasks:
  • Complete inventory sheets
  • Organizing, labeling, and entering the information in spreadsheets
  • Assist Inventory leaders in coordinating the reception and deployment of goods
  • Set up a conveyor belt and supervise that work is running smoothly.

Requirements

• Knowledge of MS Office - Word/Excel/Outlook
• Supervisor experience
• Organized, self-driven, attention to detail
• Team player, able to cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Must be committed to remaining at the job for the duration of the project (2 months)
• Responsible, reliable, who can keep up good attendance
• Proven leadership skills to coordinate the warehouse team
• Fluent in English and Spanish is an asset
• Be willing to go through a background check

Required Attire and Safety Guidelines:

·         Steel or composite toe work shoes/boots

·         Safety gloves, vest, glasses and hard hat.

·         Long pants that cover from waist to ankle (No sweats, scrubs, or pajama bottoms)

·         Long hair must be tied back in a ponytail
