Available Shifts:
A Shift ($19.00/hour): 7:00am - 3:00pm M-F
B Shift ($21.50/hour): 3:00pm - 11:00pm M-F
C Shift ($21.50/hour): 11:00pm - 7:00am S-TH
Morning ($19.00/hour): 7:00am - 7:00pm
Night ($21.50/hour): 7:00pm - 7:00am
Work Performed:
Manually remove finished bags from line and pack in cartons
Perform quality checks and record information.
Perform basic adjustments and measurements on assigned equipment with little support from the cell leader and/or group leader to maintain quality specifications.
Prepare input rolls for splicing to current product
Inform cell leader and/or group leader of operating problems.
Keep accurate records of reclaim and downtime.
Maintain clean, safe work area.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all plant and departmental safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor and/or group leader.
Communicate effectively with off-going and on-coming shift personnel.
Give assistance to co-workers to reduce reclaim and downtime.
May train other personnel of lower job levels.
Requirements of Position:
3-5 months as a Converting Trainee
Able to stand/walk for extended periods
Able to grip and reach
Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Good mathematical skills.
Able to work overtime as required.
Abide by company’s attendance policy
Continuous learning will be expected
