Rudnick & Sons LLC – Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Okanogan County, WA

Rudnick & Sons LLC is a growing heavy civil contractor serving North Central Washington. We specialize in underground utilities, road construction, site development, ADA improvements, and public works projects. We're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to be part of a family-owned company that values its employees.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other construction equipment.
• Perform excavation, grading, utility installation, and roadway construction.
• Read and understand construction plans, grades, and staking.
• Work closely with superintendents, foremen, and survey/GPS personnel.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with other construction tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience (more preferred).
• Experience with underground utilities and road construction is highly desirable.
• Ability to read plans and understand grades and elevations.
• GPS machine control experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
