Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
- Review and audit employee timecards for accuracy and completeness.
- Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, wage changes, direct deposits, deductions, and tax updates.
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll reporting.
- Respond to employee and manager payroll questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Partner with HR on employee onboarding, benefits deductions, and payroll-related changes.
- Work with payroll vendors and internal departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Participate in payroll process improvements and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- 2+ years of payroll experience preferred.
- Multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred.
- UKG Ready experience is highly desired but not required.
- Working knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filtering, and spreadsheets) strongly preferred.
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
