Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Industrial Carpenters/Concrete Finishers to join our team for a 4-month industrial construction project. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing, finishing, grinding, and polishing concrete surfaces while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Position: Industrial Carpenter/Concrete Finisher
• Job Type: Temporary (4-month project)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Hours: 50+ hours/week
• Pay Rate: $20-$25

Responsibilities

• Prepare, finish, grind, and polish concrete surfaces according to project specifications.
• Operate concrete finishing equipment, Fresno trowel, steel finishing trowels, brooms, brushes, rebar, string lines, edgers, groovers, slickers, grinders, hand tools, and use of power tools safely/efficiently.
• Responsible for excavation, layout, formwork, concrete placement, backfill and installation of all concrete-supported electrical infrastructure.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical plans to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Repair concrete surface imperfections, cracks, and defects as needed.
• Apply densifiers, hardeners, sealers, and other finishing materials when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial carpentry/concrete finishing experience.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, blueprints, and technical plans.
• Proficient in the use of concrete finishing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques and surface preparation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Must have own hand/power tools to complete the work.
• Background & drug test required.
• Proper PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Experience with concrete grinding and polishing equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
