We are a local, woman-owned bakery located on the northside of Chicago. We are passionate about what we do, and are looking for like-minded, hard-working individuals that are up for the job- big or small.

Two years prior experience in a production bakery, a positive attitude, and experience in a fast-paced food preparation environment is ideal! This position is a great opportunity for the right person to make it their own.

Position is 30-40 hours per week.

Requirements
Must be self motivated, organized and able to follow instruction

Work well independently as well as work closely with others

Cleanliness and strong attention to detail and consistency a must

Innate send of hustle

Safely operate commercial mixers, ovens and other bakery appliances

Must understand allergens and safe food handling to avoid cross contamination

Some cake and cupcake decorating experience a plus
Good communication skills

Applicants must be able to lift at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Comfortable reading and understanding numbers
