This position plays a vital role in ensuring flooring materials are received, organized, accurately prepared, and delivered to support our installation teams and customers.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Technician, you will:

• Prepare daily material cuts and stage orders for outbound deliveries.
• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments from vendors and delivery carriers.
• Load transfer trucks and confirm inventory accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update roll tags for carpet and sheet vinyl.
• Organize warehouse inventory and store materials in assigned locations.
• Print and prepare daily allocations for installation schedules.
• Communicate inventory shortages and material needs to management.
• Deliver materials to job sites as needed using a company vehicle.
• Operate a forklift safely, including changing propane tanks when necessary.
• Perform routine warehouse equipment maintenance.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, including:
• • Cleaning cutting equipment
  • Replacing cutting blades
  • Removing debris and packaging materials
  • Organizing next-day orders.
• Respond to order, inventory, and billing emails.
• Assist other team members and help solve operational challenges throughout the day.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 5 year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification and previous forklift operating experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math skills.

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Previous flooring, building materials, or construction warehouse experience.

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position requiring the ability to:

• Stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 55 pounds.
• Bend, squat, kneel, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, including hot, humid, cold, and rainy weather conditions.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Flexibility to work earlier, later, or occasional overtime as business needs require is preferred.
