Lead Maintenance Technician
Location: Denton, TX
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join an apartment community in Denton, TX.
Requirements
- EPA Certification Required
- Prior multifamily/apartment maintenance experience required
- CPO Certification Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a maintenance team
- Must be available for on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the maintenance team with daily operations
- Complete and prioritize service requests/work orders
- Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
- Troubleshoot and complete apartment make-readies
- Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Assist with maintaining building systems and equipment
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors when needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory
- Ensure the community is clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call rotation
- Help train and provide direction to maintenance team members
- Communicate effectively with the Property Manager regarding maintenance needs and projects
